We will be voting on the 2019-2020 JLKD board and also hear a presentation from Dale Roberts, life coach and handwriting analysis expert. Join us for Strike up the Fun- a fundraiser supporting JLKD programs. We have two types of tickets available for purchase:
Adult tickets: $50 (tax deductible/JLKD fundraising credit - $14). This ticket includes: 2 hours of bowling, shoes, appetizers and 2 drinks tickets for beer/wine/pitcher of soda.
Child tickets: $25 (tax deductible/JLKD fundraising credit - $2). This ticket includes: 2 hours of bowling, shoes, pizza, unlimited soda, $5 arcade credit, and a $5 gift certificate for future visit.

Join the Community Task Force as we partner with Spark for their Week of the Young Child Fair. We will be hosting a Kids in the Kitchen station. Additional details and shift times to follow.
We will be hosting our 4th annual Earth Day Event at Mooseheart Child City. We will have spring time games and crafts for the kids. This is always a great event and we look forward to your involvement.

A short luncheon meeting for the new 2019-20 Board members to discuss their roles, accountability, general plans for 2019-20, and basic overview of Policy & Procedures and Bylaws. We will also chat about what to expect at a board meeting to prepare you for attendance at the May board meeting.

2019-20 Board members, Committee Chairs & Co-Chairs, Committee Vice-Chairs, and other league managers are requested to attend our annual League Leader Training conference.
Topics to be discussed include: 2018-21 Strategic Plan, 2019-20 Annual Planning, leading teams, specific committee roles and interactions between committees, goal setting, and what it means to be a league leader generally. We will also discuss JLKD's background, history, and current status as it relates to league business and planning. Brunch refreshments will be served.
This training is highly recommended for all incoming and returning league leaders. Those unable to attend, please reach out to the President or President-Elect directly to ensure you have access to the content discussed. The more people in attendance means the more productive the training will be.
